Ultrasound

Ultrasound is a medical imaging technique that uses high-frequency sound waves to produce images of structures within the body. It's commonly used to visualize organs, tissues, and blood flow.

During an ultrasound procedure, a small handheld device called a transducer is placed on the skin, and a gel is applied to help transmit the sound waves. The transducer emits sound waves that bounce off internal structures, and the echoes are captured and used to create images.
